According to the findings in the study the results indicates that 67.5% of the students indicated that physical education is taught and only 30.1% declined to accept.

According to the finding in the study above the 87% of the schools in Wakiso indicated that they teach PE, 84.6% in Rakai, 19% in Mukono, 76.9% in Luwero. This results further indicated most of the Wakiso school teach PE as compared to other districts during the study.

The study results indicates that 52.6% of the Head teachers in Luwero responded that they have P.E teachers. The results further also shows that 64.7% indicated that they have P.E teachers. While in rakai it was indicated that 96.7% asserted that there is P.E teacher whiule in Wakiso it was 84.%.

According to the findings in the study it has been revealed that 38% of the school have one P.E teacher while 31.5% have two P.E teacher. This study findings also further indicates that majority of schools have only one Head Teacher.

The study results indicates that majority 42% of the respondents did not respond while, 28.6% indicated that one teacher had gone for orientation and also 28.3% also further indicated that Two teachers had gone for orientation.

In order to find out the condition of instructional materials the researcher analyzed the study using a likert scale of , 0-No response, 1-New, 2-Good, 3-Fair, 4-Poor.

According to the table above the results indicates that majority of the respondents assert that most of the respondents did not respondent on the quality of the instructional materials as indicated by the mean value of 0.4133. Indicating that majority of the respondents did not respond.

According to the Head teachers response it was evident that majority of the instructional materials provided were other PE  Material then followed by, Kick-start P.E materials, and  NCDC PES guidelines. The fewest were P.E resource books.

The study results indicates that on average the schools which received PES policy received 1.1 on average. This indicates that the few schools which received PES policy were given one. While Kick-start P.E materials had an average 1.7 indicating that on the few schools which received most of the schools received 2.

According to the findings in the study it has been revealed that Football sports equipment are the most common form of equipment. Netball also had the second largest number of sports equipment, followed by athletics equipment and lastly volley ball.

According to the results of the study average time spend in PE per week is 128.06 minutes per week while for senior six 77.50 minutes . the classes of senior two also spends only 114.39.
