The findings indicated that majority 73% of the total expenditure was in works while 27% were Total completed supplies. From the table above for the financial year 2021-2022, in the period of January to April 2021 the Total procurement spent on works was 1,197,452,943/= while individually the total value of completed supplies/services was 425,033,135/=.

The study results further show that purchase of fuel takes the largest amount of contracts value at 149,521,025 at it makes 57.3% of the total contract value for procurement followed by the expenditure on repair and servicing of the motor vehicles which has a total contract value of 30,304,000. This therefore indicates that
