The products of Kimara diaries are Moo fresh yoghurt which is sweet yoghurt packed in different sizes like sizes like Half liter , 1 liter , 2 liters and 3 liters and other measurement are also available.
The company despite the several challenges it is facing it has a big demand for its yoghurt this is because Uganda as country has few yoghurt processing industries. It is basing on this unexploited market that Moo fresh yoghurt is seeking to exploit and become even more successful.
Currently due to lack of high-tech equipment’s Moo fresh yoghurt is using poor machines to make yoghurt however because of high demand the sales are extremely high for a startup company which is 2 years in the business.
The location of Moo fresh yoghurt in Nakawa industrial Located in Nakawa division is one of the most urban parts of the country with a large growing youthful population who have considerable income therefore Moo fresh yoghurt will capitalize on this large population to ensure that it increase its sales at the moment the capacity of 100 liters a day by Moo fresh yoghurt is small and this therefore makes the company unable to serve all the people who wish to buy its products.
Due to growing Demand for moo fresh yoghurt and a small processing capacity therefore it is imperative for the organization to secure funds so that they are able to buy better equipment to process yoghurt and meet the large market for yoghurt.
Since Uganda is blessed with long horned cows, Moo fresh yoghurt will therefore use this as its key strength to ensure it source milk cheaply from the retailers to enable it make yoghurt and a cheap cost and export it to foreign countries like Dubai, Qatar, Turkey.
Moo fresh yoghurt started its production in May 2020 with a total production of 100 liters of yoghurt a day since the organization lacks the necessary machines, the yoghurt is made locally and this makes Moo fresh yoghurt get a profit of more than 3,500,000 shillings monthly, however currently the company is seeking to get funders to enable it purchase large scale equipment to enable Moo fresh yoghurt to produce more than 10,000 liters of yoghurt a day. The organization needs better equipment this therefore means that the organization needs funding to enhance its output. When the production is increased to 10,000 liters therefore the total monthly profitability will be at 35,000,000 shillings.
OBJECTIVES
- To increase capacity of Yoghurt processing from the current 100 liters to 10,000 liters a day
- Providing Quality yoghurt
- Open other Branches in other Towns like Kampala, Jinja, Iganga, Mbale, soroti, Gulu and Hoima
- Creation of employment opportunities for the people around the area.
