1. Executive Summary
This preliminary budget proposal is prepared by Research Consult Uganda for Altai Consulting. It provides an estimated budget for conducting a field study focused on Ugandan coffee farmers across five districts: Luwero, Mityana, Kasese, Mbale, and Masaka. The study includes 250 quantitative on-farm interviews and 7–10 focus group discussions.
All questionnaires and interview guidelines will be provided in English, while Research Consult Uganda will handle translation, data collection, transcription, and delivery of clean datasets and English transcripts.

3. Key Notes and Assumptions
